Blakely Rose Smith Aka THE CUTEST NIECE EVER!!!

So I am pretty much the proudest auntie that has ever been. But when you have a niece that looks like this it's hard not to want to hold her all the time!

I would drop everything to just sit and hold her and watch her for my big sis whenever! She is just that adorable! I can't believe that I am so blessed to have such great siblings who can create such a BEAUTIFUL little girl! Seriously this girl is going to be breaking hearts by the time she can walk! The saddest thing for me is that I won't be able to see her start to walk! :( But she has the best mommy who will send me pictures every email!

She is so adorable and has been that way since her birth! She is honestly the cutest and just writing this makes me think how I haven't seen her since Sunday! I love love love love her so much!!

I Suck At Blogging!

These past few months have increasingly changed my entire life....

I have decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I made this decision a while ago not knowing when I would be able to go and then there was an announcement made that I was able to go right away?!?!?! What!?!?!? Well being like a lot of other girls my age I sent in my mission papers as soon as possible. That process isn't all what people make it... it took me one day to do all the paperwork!  If you are doing what is right in Heavenly Father's eye then EVERYTHING will fall into place. I was worried that my contract wouldn't sell, and two days after my papers were in my contract was sold. I was worried about where I was going to go and then freaking out when my call was coming... It was sent the next week!

Called to Serve.
Let's be honest here the day my mission call came was one of THE most stressful days of my life! As soon as I found out that it was in my uncle's hands my mind went to lala land. Then I had to wait all day for this! I was running around like a crazy women as soon as we got to my cousin's house. I couldn't sit still.

This may look like a smile but I was FREAKING OUT!!!

Dear Sister Williams you have been hereby called to serve in the Brazil Curitiba mission leaving March 20th for the Brazil Mtc. 

I'm pretty sure I started hyperventilating when Cody opened his mission call because he is going to the Phillipines!!! That kid is going to be the best missionary! He is my best friend and I am so proud of him for making the decision to go! What a great guy!! 

This pretty much sums up my night! I was so excited and still am!!

I am one happy happy girl and am so blessed with all that I have been given in my life!

The Best Start!

Can I just say how much I am loving BYU?!?!?!?! It's one of the most incredibly fun places that I have encountered! In the past few weeks: I have met so many fun friends, hopped in random boys cars, gone to a tumbling gym with jerseys on, and gone swimming with jerseys on!

Only Two More Weeks!!!!!

So I have been totally lame at doing my blog lately! I have been sleeping all day long and working all night... It's kinda tiring! The next week should be really exciting because I am going home for the 4th of July and my birthday! I can't believe that I am turning 20 this week!! It's a strange time because now I am not going to be a teenager anymore!

In other news... I ONLY HAVE TWO WEEKS LEFT IN REXBURG!!!! I never thought this month would come! In two and a half weeks I will be done at BYU-Idaho and leaving for home for a few weeks! Then I will be headed to Utah where I will be for the foreseeable future! WOOT!!!!

Well off to work for the night....

One of those days...

So I have been one of the most exciting people ever for the past couple weeks... Let's see I've slept, went to school, went to work (at obscure hours), oh and I slept!! I think I see more of the inside of my eyelids than most people around Rexburg! I can't believe that all the wishing that I've done to get out of this place is finally coming true in less than ONE MONTH!!!!! Granted I may have to spend my 20th birthday here... unless I can get a ride! It's been a dream of mine to leave ever since I decided I was going... Now for my next adventure in PROVO!!!!! Let's just say that I am a little too excited at the prospect of leaving... But I can't really blame myself for this! I blame the way that there is practically no civilization around here! 

Sorry for my rant....

Great Weekend!

So this weekend I was planning just to have a quiet weekend at my apartment and only sleep because I have been sleep deprived, but others had different plans for me! I was about to take a nap on Friday afternoon when I got a text from a kid in my class asking me to go on a group date with him. We headed to Island Park and started the night off with eating waffles which were soooo good!! 4 of us were shunned to the little kid table and we finished before everyone else, and so we decided that we wanted to go ATV riding! I had such a great time being on those four-wheels again. It made summer actually seem real!! Then everyone started heading over to where we going to SHOOT GUNS!!! I had never before shot a gun, and I had one of the best times of my life!! The first is a video of the first gun I had ever shot! It was a 22!!! No kickback whatsover!!

I then wanted to be more exciting and so I decided that I could handle the 9 mm handgun. 

I had already shot the first round and this was my reaction, don't make too much fun of me! ha

We called this little one the "hooker gun" because it was so small!

After we finished shooting we went back to the cabin and watched The Woman in Black.... Yeah FREAKY    movie! I fell asleep for about 20 minutes, but the rest of the movie was super good!! We then had the awesome trek back to Rexburg.

On Saturday my friend Dannah and I hadn't hung out since last year so we took the opportunity to go and spend money!! We had so much fun and it was great to catch up with old friends!! 

Only six more weeks and then I never have to come back here again!!!

Mission Accomplished!

Ever since my first day at BYU-Idaho, I have had one goal before I left this place: To hijack one of the gators and ride it around campus! Well last night I was able to drive the gator around campus, but my dang supervisor let me, so it really wasn't a hijacking! When he told us that he was going to let us drive it over to the building I was so excited!!! Here is proof!

New Do!!!

This past weekend was super boring because I was just resting up from a week of not sleeping during my job! Yep, I work from 12-3 in the morning, but my coworkers make it super fun! Today I had another fun experience of going to Paul Mitchell hair school and it took the girl 2 HOURS to do my hair. I was already tired, but for those that know me, I was dying from not being able to sit still for that long! Now it's over!!!

Weekend!

What a weekend..... Full of laughs and fun, and super random adventures!! Friday I had a job interview... still waiting to hear about that. Then we all just chatted around the apartment. Saturday I finished up some homework, and then it was just too beautiful outside so we decided to go to the park!

Then we came home and my roommate Allison heard of a free concert so we decided to go! We Shot the Moon was AMAZING!! So fun to go with the roommies!!

Then after the concert we got a sweet picture with their leading man Jonathon Jones.

Highlight of the whole concert was when his eyes locked with mine! I LOVE those moments! 

Having such a great time this semester with so much more to come! So excited to go home and see a friend that I haven't for two years and see my family!

When I went home for my sister's farewell, we were forced into taking family pictures. Here's how they went:

She is leaving TODAY!! I can't believe it!

I feel so blessed to have parents, who after 25 years together still love each other! They are an example and yes they do have 3 grown children!

All the siblings together for the last time till one has a baby and one is gone for 18 months. If you are jealous of our family... You should be because we have a blast!!

Who I Am

Two days ago I was able to go to a concert at which Diamond Rio had performed. It totally took me back to my childhood and I was able to reminisce on how much I had when I was little. All my life I have had supportive parents that had dropped everything if one of us needed something. I have always relied on their testimony of the gospel and truly felt the joy that has come into my life because of the gospel. Yesterday I went to a Stake Conference where there were many speakers talking about how they needed to find out for themselves if the Church was true. I questioned if I knew for myself that it was true, but quickly I was able to see that without the hand of my Heavenly Father every day throughout my life, I would be truly lost. I have gone through many trials in my life, and that has led me to the testimony that I have of my Church. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I have truly been blessed with all of the blessings that being a member has brought into my life. I have always relied on the faith that everything would work out in the end, and so far that principle has helped me through my roughest times in life. A few months ago I was forced to make a decision between two of my biggest dreams. One being an internship in Disney World with my favorite company, or following my dream of going to BYU in Provo. I struggled with this decision for a while, but after I knew what I had to do I felt the peace that comes with knowing that I made the right decision. It was truly a difficult thing to decide for myself and I was able to rely on the knowledge of my parents to help me decide what I really needed to do. I am a new Cougar! I never thought I would be able to say those words. When I was in high school I was rejected from my dream school, but with everything in life I took it as a new challenge and worked hard in my first two years of college to obtain my dream. There has been many things that I have learned about myself being in Rexburg, that I don't think I could have ever learned anywhere else. I have grown up in more ways than even I could have imagined. Like in the song by Diamond Rio, "I believe." I truly do believe that everything in life that happens has a meaning and something that I need to take out of that experience. I am often in awe how much I change with every new trial that comes my way! I took a look in the mirror today and saw how much I have changed in the past two years. I am not the scared little girl and know I feel so very comfortable in my own skin! I am trying a new motto in my life to live everyday like it's the last one I will ever have!

Time of My Life

It has been an amazing couple weeks! I just started my last semester at BYU-Idaho before I start an even greater adventure in Provo! I can't believe how lucky I have been in my life and can't wait for my new adventure to start! There has been so many challenges that I have had to overcome to be where I am today and I can't imagine life without those challenges! This past couple weeks has been adventures after adventures.... 

This is my best friend Kortni who recently got married, and we had a most epic adventure at the Festival of Colors. 

One of the last nights of the semester with one of my roommates! She is awesome!!

She just got married, and she was one of the best roommates! 

This is my new roommie! We are starting this new adventure and can't even describe how much we have been having!

My best friend, and sister! She just found out that she's having a little baby girl! I can't wait to meet that little girl and be the best auntie in the world!! 

I have the best family in the world! Yes, be jealous of us! I can't even describe how much fun we have! 

One of my other best friends, and sister! She is leaving on her mission in 4 DAYS!!! I can't believe how lucky I am! She's going to be an amazing missionary and I can't wait to see all she does on the mission!

I'm having withdrawls from this girl! Haven't seen her in so long, and miss her so much!!! 

Can you believe this woman is going to be a mom? Well she's going to be the best mom in the world, well besides our own mother!

My mom is literally the best and has helped me accomplish so much in my life already! I can't wait to be just like her and follow suit of motherhood!

This is my dad! He is one of the best guys I know! He has also helped me get where I am today with always being there to listen and to give advice! Can you believe that in two months he is going to have three daughters over the age of 20?!?!? 

Life is meant to be enjoyed and to be lived!! I can't wait to go on and start new adventures!! With all my friends and family around me, I don't think I could have a better time!

Life is BEAUTIFUL! I intend to live it to the fullest!!!
